What kind of businesses does Cedar Ridge work with?
Growing eCommerce retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and light manufacturers — typically doing £2m–£50m in revenue. Our clients have usually outgrown spreadsheets or disconnected systems and need proper operational infrastructure. We also support ERP and WMS partners who need delivery capacity on complex projects.
What ERP systems do you implement?
We implement Odoo and Cin7. Odoo for businesses needing a full ERP (sales, inventory, manufacturing, accounting, eCommerce). Cin7 for multi-channel retailers and distributors who need strong inventory and order management. If you’re not sure which is right, that’s exactly what our Operational Assessment is for.
Is Cedar Ridge a consultancy or an implementation partner?
We’re an implementation partner first. We sell, implement, configure, and support Odoo and Cin7. We also offer advisory services and operational assessments, but our core work is getting systems live and working. We’re upfront about what we do and our commercial relationships with platform vendors.
How is Cedar Ridge different from other ERP partners?
Our founder spent 18 years in ERP delivery, including as Senior Director of Professional Services at a FTSE 100 software company. That enterprise-grade operational experience sets us apart from typical partners. When you work with Cedar Ridge, you get a senior practitioner from day one — not a junior consultant following a playbook.
What does the Operational Assessment include?
It’s a fixed-scope, fixed-fee review of your current operations, systems, and processes. You get an honest audit of where you are, a gap analysis, a platform recommendation (if needed), and a written action plan with costed next steps. It takes 1–2 weeks and there’s no obligation to continue working with us afterwards.
Can you fix an ERP that isn’t working properly?
Yes. ERP rescue and optimisation is a core part of what we do. Whether your implementation stalled, your processes don’t match the system, or you’re stuck with workarounds — we diagnose the problem, fix the configuration, redesign workflows, and get your system working as it should.
Do you work with Shopify businesses?
Yes. Many of our clients run Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms as their storefront and need a proper back-office system for inventory, fulfilment, purchasing, and finance. We connect Shopify to Odoo or Cin7 so that orders, stock, and data flow correctly across the business.
How long does a typical ERP implementation take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the business. A straightforward Cin7 setup for a small retailer might take 4–6 weeks. A full Odoo implementation for a wholesaler with manufacturing and multi-warehouse operations could take 3–6 months. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after the discovery stage.
Do you offer ongoing support after go-live?
Yes. We offer retained support packages that include system administration, process refinement, training for new staff, and quarterly operational reviews. We don’t disappear after launch — that’s when the real work of optimisation starts.
